CATZ helps athletes of all ages and abilities reach their athletic potential. CATZ has partnered with Dr. Jane Pentz, a recognized leader in the field of sports nutrition. Dr. Pentz offers customized nutrition information & support to help CATZ athletes compete at their best.
Dr. Jane Pentz began her career in nutrition with an undergraduate degree in nutritional biochemistry from Vassar College while simultaneously raising three children. Her education continued at Tufts University where she received her Masters and Ph.D. degrees in nutritional biochemistry; she is one of only several hundred to ever earn a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition Sciences from the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University.
Dr. Pentz has worked extensively with athletes at the professional, college, high school and recreational levels. She is also a graduate member of the American College of Sports Medicine and a continuing education provider for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the American Council on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Fitness Association of America, the American Dietetics Association, Boston City Schools (and other school districts throughout the country), and the Massachusetts Nurses Association.
